What happens when a beneficiary dies?
A member or next of kin must make a notification of death to the Society as soon as practicable within 24 hours
What documentation will you need as evidence of death?
Usually documents such as a Burial Order and Identity card will suffice at that stage.
How long will it take to receive the benefit?
As long as the evidence of documentation is received and our agent here and in Zimbabwe confirms the authentication of the death, a pay-out will be made within 24 working hours.
What if I missed only a contribution payment?
If you fail to make your contributions on time then you will lose your entitlement
What If I want to opt out?
If you wish to opt out you will lose all contributions made and there is no refund for opting out.
What if my details change?
You should let the Executive know of your change of details as soon as possible
What if I want extra services that aren’t included?
Should you require any additional services that are not listed on our site, please feel free to contact one of our Executives.
